Amazing experience! Very nice, helpful and patient with newbies like us. The horses are well cared for and know exactly what to do. Oh and beautiful country! We will go back!

My husband and I have been going to North Western Lakes Riding for a few years now. We go riding every year to celebrate my birthday.nWe can't say enough good things about this establishment. Mike and Cindy are both professional and knowledgeable and are both the sweetest people you could ever meet.nOur drive from Seattle is worth every mile to go riding on Snickers and Whiskey. Mike has been our guide since the very beginning.nI had a horse many years ago and have a lot of experience being around horses. My husband had not. I was indeed impressed with Cindy's pre-riding instructions, which included safety, and illustrations during our first visit at North Western Lakes Riding. This took about 30 to 45 minutes. It was worth the wait and time to make sure my husband felt prepared, confident and ready to ride.nMike was just as impressive. During our ride he would always check with my husband before we ventured into a new experience (ie. a trot, a canter, a gallop, etc.). I appreciate that safety is their utmost concern for both the rider and their horses. We plan to continue to be part of North Western Lakes Riding establishment.nThank you Cindy and Mike for all that you've done to make our experiences memorable and very enjoyable. My daughter and her husband certainly enjoyed their time riding. I, however, did not partake, as my father taught me long ago to never trust any animal that could walk and have a bowel movement at the same time.

I had a 2 hour ride on the Timberline Trail on Snickers. Great ride and views of the valley and Mt Hood. I would come back here again.
