Because of Maria going out of her way to connect me with the local rescue who had picked this little adoptee, I was able to get Dobby. Maria helped both Dobby and me to come together. She went above and beyond for this little guy, and today I was finally able to adopt Dobby. They really do care about finding loving homes for these shelter animals. Bless them for the work that they do and bless Maria.

Great shelter and nice staff. I adopted Icon from there on Thursday the 10th of December 2020. He is a great boy the only thing is he had a very bad bacterial infection in both ears that went untreated for I don't know how long, no antibiotics or anything. My vet also believes he may have some type of mange. They also did not vaccinate him. Once I realized his ears were so bad (lashing out because of pain) my mom suggested I called the shelter first, so I called them and they said sorry but you signed saying you would provide vet care for this dog and we have no vet on staff so its up to you. I had to frantically get Icon an appointment before the snow came on Wednesday the 16th of December 2020 (today) Luckily I got one last night.nnI am not angry they wouldn't help me out I am angry that they left my boy in pain, without treatment and without even warning me. If they warned me I could have set up an appt without having to go through the loops I went through. A dog is already sad at a shelter they should at least get some vet care for a serious infection. I know shelter dogs don't come to you perfect but he was (and still) in some serious pain.
