Roanoke Housing Authority Main Office

Applied for Jamestown apartment 5 years ago when i moved to Roanoke. I had lost my good paying job and with my health failing my employment options were limited. I did get low paying full time security job.nnThis is is typical government beauracracy. Told apartments are granted according to a lottery system. Well that system seems to choose people who are new to this country and cant even speak English or single moms.nnI have paid taxes in this country for 40 plus years and was hung out to dry. Still renting same room in substandard house that i rented 5 years ago. Dangerous electric, barely any hot water and somebody always in the kitchen using it before me so i have to eat out most the time. Bad on my health and budget.
