Beautiful church. My child's class is studying the medieval period and walked around the outside (a funeral mass was being held inside or we would have gone inside too). It was exciting to hear the students talk about the architectural features they saw.

The facade of the church is so beautiful, and there's a great view from the top as you go down towards the parking lot, unfortunately all the doors were close and we weren't able to see the inside.

Beautiful structure. Parishioners friendly. Music OK. Liked the priest. Diligently followed COVID protocols.

Visited on a Saturday evening for Mass. We were not local but felt very welcomed. Attendance was high due to bad weather coming on Sunday but social distancing was maintained and a well managed overflow room was set up for attendees that could not be seated in the main cathedral. To our Catholic friends in Roanoke - you have an incredibily beautiful place to worship but more importantly, you have kind and welcoming members who take their responsibilties seriously. Thank you!

The deacon shared a great homily connecting to mindfulness when voting.nnAt the end of Mass, the priest thanked and encouraged parents to continue bringing their children and not be worried about the noise.nnI read a previous post/regarding receiving the Eucharist on the tongue. The priest and parish had a system for delivery and sanitation.nnThank you for the wonderful visit.
