Belmont Church

2012 when I first came to Belmont it was a very traditional southern Baptist Church. Which I love! Through out the years I have seen Belmont transform into this beautiful multiethnic congregation full of love. I've seen the children's ministry flourishes with youngsters and babies. How they learn and worship God. I've seen the student ministry grow from 3 to over 30 plus. Our Youth is called Rooted and we have such a close family relationship with one another, I couldn't be prouder to serve on the leadership team. I've seen amazing people come and go from Belmont. We're a church that loves God and loves one another. We Worship as a family and we serve the community with some good southern hospitality. We have been blessed with such a beautiful building. If you know someone from Roanoke,Va there is a good chance they’ve heard of Belmont.Every one is welcomed from all walks of life and every generation. Preaching Gods word since 1901 at the red doors of Stewart and 9th. To all our team leaders, thank you. This is a wonderful multiethnic church with biblical teachings and a loving posture. Pastor Jon Laughinghouse is loving, bold, and humble. The staff and congregation are active and supportive. They strive hard to eliminate cliques often found in other churches.

Good christian people whom are helping and assisting the homeless and unsheltered people, they will not turn anyone away for any reason. God bless them!

Been coming to Belmont for few months since moving here. I know God lead me here! This church and church family are the picture of what Heaven will be like! I'm emotional just writing this. God is definitely working here!
