Had my vehicle towed to C & L as it was only 2 miles from my house. It was my first time using this shop for work on my truck. The 3 years I've owned this truck I have had a warm start issue, other mechanics in Powhatan essentially threw parts at it trying to resolve the issue. C&L was able to diagnose a bad lead wire within my fuel pump and get my truck running smoothly again! Highly recommend!
These folks are a couple of the best mechanics I've every come across. They're very honest, reliable and have been around forever. I don't often rate a business, but this is a great auto repair shop and I'm glad I found them!
Fair and honest place to get work done
Great bunch of honest mechanics! One of the only shops I go to.
Took my vehicle in for what I thought were bad ball joints on my truck with 147,000 miles, fully expecting to shell out several hundred dollars. I have been to shops that would have just replaced them at my request and taken my money. Paul and his crew didn't find bad ball joints just a noisy chassis. They charged me for just a lube job and sent me on my way. I know they are a bit off the beaten path, but if you are looking for an honest mechanic, that will treat you with respect and not take you for a ride; I would highly recommend C&L. The money you will save is well worth the drive (not to mention it is a beautiful drive). I will continue to take all my automotive work there. Thanks Guys!!
