Nice new church with a chapel for if you want to go to mass in the mornings. Architecturally very different from northern Catholic churches, but still really nice. The priest is a good guy. If you're in Powhatan, definitely stop by.

Love this Church. They help when they can. It’s tough to give to everyone but they do their best.

Recently my son needed an emergency dental visit for an extremely painful tooth . I called the church for help and was told to call the PCC because they had money for such problems according to information the church obtained from Social Services they told me. The PCC did not have funds to help my son. The church pushed my sons problem off to a program they already knew did not have money. They did not call me back to check on my sons condition or to be sure he was helped. I know the church is there to help the community who are in need .In this situation they chose to not only push a needy person off but failed to fulfill the Church's mission of love, generosity,and help to those in need.
