Nice place. Discovered a rope swing that I could jump in. When you’re by yourself, you can find a little pool by the falls and take a good look at the Potomac. Relaxing, soothing, and clean.

Short walk! Beautiful views of the water ! Hills are a bit intense though on the blue trail so be mindful of your abilities !

We drove an hour to get there with two dogs and had to leave because there was absolutely nowhere to park. Incredibly disappointing.

If I could give more stars I would. Easy, direct hike to water. Great views of the river and waterfall. Not supposed to swim but *could* sneak in if no ones watching. Take the kids of various ages many times each year.

I’ve enjoyed going to the waterfall for over 50 years since I was a teenager. The path to the waterfall is well marked and a reasonable distance the parking. If you are vigorous and nimble ignore the sign that says “to the waterfall” and continue on the path beside the creek. You’ll climb a steep hill and then descend over steep rocks to a place with a wonderful view of the waterfall. This way requires a good sense of balance. Be safe, but do it if you physically up to the hike.
