Northwest Excursions

Really nice people...they were helpful in answering my questions about the trails.

What can I say? I had an amazing long weekend with the crew at NW Excursions. They had every moment of the trip sorted out, be it an adventure on the bike or a brewery, coffee shop, new farm/orchard/winery thing, etc to go experience. We got to see so much of what Hood River offers in our 4 days there. Not to mention a brewery tour and a coffee roaster tour which aren't available to the public. As far a the biking went they had it setup where we had our biggest day of pedaling first, then the next day we went to a totally different zone for a sort of van assisted pedal/shuttle/more pedal day and the last day was pretty much shuttle riding. All different trails and riding areas every day. It was so much fun seeing all the different terrain!nOur guide was very friendly and knowledgeable of all the spots we went.nYou might also learn something from riding with her, if you can keep up, she shreds! Oh and they put us up in the Hood River hotel which is a cool, historic building which is updated to be comfortable but yet gives you the unique experience of staying in a historic building. I'd definitely go back!

Northwest Excursions puts on the best guided mountain bike shuttle rides! John and Brian were great guides and Lydia does an excellent job at answering your questions and concerns! If you're in the Hood River, OR area and want to experience some great trails then you need to book a trip because I never would have found these trails on my own. Plus they feed you and give you a nice, cold beer at the end! You can't beat that!

What a blast my family and I had being guided by Brian and Laura! They took us down some amazing trails and provide pointers on some of the more technical stuff. We had a huge range of riding capabilities and they took care of all of us! We would definitely go back. Thanks Guys!

If you like to ride bikes and are planning a trip to Hood River this summer, this is the way to go. You will certainly get your fill of the best riding the Gorge has to offer with excellent local guides and shuttle drivers. In addition to the trails, these folks have the eating, drinking and lodging in Hood River figured out (the breakfasts form the local bakeries were especially good). My extended weekend with Northwest Excursions was full of fun experiences with great people, no hassle and a relaxed atmosphere.
