My story is similar to many others and I wish I had read the reviews before I ordered my sectional. Now don’t get me wrong I ordered in November knew it was on back order with a 8-12 week delivery window but when the time comes I expect delivery. There was no communication from the store we had to call for updates and the date was different with each call. If you want to cancel they will charge you a 10% restocking fee which I don’t understand because it wasn’t in stock in the first place. When we ask for any type of compensation they say the order has to be filled before they can offer anything. So 2 more months later we finally received our sectional and the offer of a $50 store gift card as compensation. Sorry if we sound ungrateful but what in the hell can we do with $50 at their furniture store certainly not purchase anything and after this experience I have no interest in dealing with them again.
I bought some beautiful furniture from Marlo's including sofa sets and a bedroom set. I had an issue with getting a mirror for my bedroom set on time, which was mainly due to delays caused by the Coronavirus. Mekedes was so sweet, patient, and professional. She followed up with me throughout the coming week and took care of my issues and concerns efficeintly . I love her calm and understanding attitude. Its nice to know there are genuinely nice people out there who truly want to help you. She is a wonderful asset to Marlo's!
Customer service is the worse of any company around. They lie and even lie to the BBB. Would not recommend them to my worse enemy.
Horrible experience, referred by my friend to visit Alexandria location but it was a biggest mistake of my life. I was told that my order will be delivered within 2-12 weeks but its been 4 months now and still waiting for my stuff. Worst part is that they are not sure when my order will be delivered. Everytime I go to check the status, they tell me a different story and give me a different delivery date. GROUP OF LIERS. Never go they if you want to be a piece of mind and do not want to add another headache in your life. Zerooo star for marlo...
