Our experience with Dr. Josephson has been superb. He is attentive, responsive and engaging. When we’ve had questions, or concerns, Dr. Josephson has responded promptly – either via email, or phone call -- with detailed answers. We have felt assured in his care. We are both cataract patients with one of us having already had cataract surgery to both eyes with excellent results. We were particularly concerned with having medical appointments, plus surgery during the pandemic, but Dr. Josephson’s staff take every medical precaution to protect us. We have never had to wait long to be seen, and all the technical and administrative staff members are unfailingly polite and professional. We would recommend Dr. Josephson most highly.

Dr. John Josephson is very knowledgeable and professional. He has a mild temperament and can answer all questions or concerns you may be having with your vision. I had my first cataract surgery yesterday, with a follow up today. He said everything was perfect, and now I will have cataract surgery on my second eye in two weeks. I’m now close to 70 years old & have worn glasses since a teenager, being near sighted. I chose for the surgery so I as now far sighted & now able to see clearer than ever before. Dr. Josephson uses laser for this type surgery, for which the laser part only is not covered by Medicare, but in my estimation, is well worth the money. All other parts of the procedure is covered by Medicare. I’m delighted that my optician, Dr. Tiffany Lione highly recommended Dr. Josephson. He is a great doctor, and takes the time to make sure you are comfortable with his recommendations.

I am impressed with this office. I am terribly near sighted and Dr. Josephson was able to restore my sight to 20/20 with a corrective lens as part of cataract surgery!nnThe staff is friendly, well organized and efficient. Dr. Josephson spent time explaining everything, listened well and made sure all my questions were answered.nnExcellent service, excellent care. I highly recommend

Dr. Moroux performed a simple procedure to remove a film buildup that sometimes occurs after cataract surgery. Her calm, friendly manner and eagerness to answer questions and address concerns made my experience comfortable. The technicians also deserve a thank you for their professionalism. Both my husband and I are appreciative of the excellent services we continue to receive from Eye Specialists of Northern Virginia.

Dr John Josephson was referred to me by a friend. I just completed the cataract surgery of my first eye to be followed by another surgery on my second eye in two weeks. From the start, all Fairfax office staff were very courteous and professional. Dr Josephson has been very patient answering my detailed questions. He even scheduled another face to face session for my clearer understanding of the options and surgery procedure. I must admit that I had some anxieties prior to my surgery yesterday. I left Dr Josephson's post-op check-up this afternoon with my 100% confidence in his professionalism and surgical skills. I also want to give the Palisades surgical staff an excellent rating.
