Just had my first appointment with Dr. Hwang. It was a very positive experience. The appointment was on time. He listened thoroughly and He was able to help my condition immediately. I highly recommend him!

Doctor Hwang has been a great help to me, I went in for a post nasal drip I had for a year and he walked me through each step to figure out the problem, finally went to the ballon surgery and he did an amazing job and made sure I was comfortable, I would recommended him to anyone who is having problems with there nose!

I do not recommend. I called for an appointment at 1:15pm on the 22nd of November 2017. I had my insurance card in my hand. I wanted to know how much the visit would cost before scheduling. They stated that they only determine that cost the day of the appointment. That doesn't make sense. If they wait until the day of, then I may not keep the appointment if they would be charging too much. That would only waste the time of everyone involved. I explained as much and stated that isn't how any other family practice, dentist, or optometrist I've worked with operates. She stated that I was welcome to go somewhere else. Wow. For a medical practice that works like a point of sale retail store, they have a lot to learn. A person should be free to shop around, especially with how many employers are only offering high deductible plans.

Very rude and unprofessional. I called to schedule an appointment for my mom. When I was asked what insurance she has, I said she has Medicare as primary and Medicaid as supplemental. The staff told me they don't accept Medicaid. I explained that her primary is Medicare and since they accept Medicare, she should be covered by her insurance. The staffer said that they still would not accept her. I called Medicare to clarify the situation as this is the first time I've come across this situation when a provider participates in Medicare and would not accept a patient because they have Medicaid as supplemental. Medicare confirmed that my mother has Medicare as her primary insurance and were too surprised that a provider would turn down a patient because they also have Medicaid as supplemental. I called back Reston ENT hoping that perhaps i would get to talk to someone who has better knowledge of their insurance policies. The second person I talked to gave me the same answer and said that their office had instituted a policy that if a patient carries both insurances, they would not see them, unless they are self-paying patients. Still puzzled, I asked how much the self-pay cost is. The staffer simply hung up on me. So be aware if you are Medicare patients, and if you happen to also have Medicaid as your supplemental. I was shocked at how rude both staffers at this practice were. Would not have taken my Mom to that practice, even if they would say they would see her. That's not the healthcare service anyone deservers! 06-14-2018
