Finally, I was scheduled to receive my first vaccine shot. I went to Northern Virginia Family Practice for my first shot. I was greeted with a friendly smile in the new, large, and super clean facility, and was taken in for the my shot right on time. I barely felt the injection. I then was instructed to sit in the waiting room for 15 minutes to be sure I didn't react negatively to the vaccine shot. I was fine. The entire experience took only about 20 minutes, and I was then on my way home. I always feel I am in good hands whenever I visit Northern Virginia Family Practice.

NVFP is excellent. I've been a patient here for decades. The quality of care is superb. The medical professionals are responsive, knowledgeable, and respectful, and I always feel that they care about my health as much as I do.

2021 Update. Now that Dr. Cornwell has retired I can no longer recommend this practice. 2018 review: Dr. Cornwell is thorough and knowledgeable. Well worth the concierge fee.

I didn’t think it was possible to feel so comfortable and trusting of a primary care doc until I found this practice. I see Jessica Ware and she is fantastic in every way: she is highly attentive and listening during appointments, always on time, returns call promptly, and is so empathetic and compassionate. Once she called to tell me she was reviewing the notes from my previous appointment and had some follow up questions. I’ve never had a practitioner go back into my chart on their own time and follow up about it. Everyone in the entire office, from Cathy in the lab, to all of the nurses and front desk staff, are helpful, kind, and professional. I can rest easy knowing that my health is in totally capable hands.

Annual physical with a procedure to drain fluid in elbow bursa which worked perfectly. Fortunately, care with NVFPA over the last several decades has resulted in excellent health while not taking any prescriptions.
