Visited it with my nephews when they were young. Great and well maintained historical site. Staff was friendly and knew their stuff. Lots to see and I was kind of surprised how few visitors there were. It is kind of out of the way and I don't think it is well known.

Nice land and safe trails. 4 stars because of not able to go inside. Tickets need to be purchased online.

Well-maintained historic site that tells the story of what farm life was like in the early 1800's. Grounds are free to walk. It's a lovely appr with several trails to walk around the property.

Sully Historic Site is a plantation from the 18th century. Yes, that means people were enslaved on the property, which some of the markers indicate. If you visit, keep that in mind and use it as a lesson as why we must fight for equitable systems today.nnThe property is spacious with a walking trail to the mansion and to the other sites. Parking is free.nnThey host a number of activities like tours, scavenger hunts and programming for all age groups.

This is a great little historic Park set aside in northern Virginia that not many people seem to know is there. It's a residence built it 1799, with some extensive grounds including the main house, outbuildings, and gardens. The grounds are nice for picnics and have some pretty good walking trails.
