I have previously adopted pets from here 12+ years ago, and went here the other day for the first time since my last pet died many years ago. We went in looking to see what cats they had for adoption. There were so many cute cats, it broke my heart to walk away from them. They also have chinchillas, guinea pigs, hamsters, reptiles, and fish. They have everything you could possibly need for your pets. Also, the employees were very kind- they welcomed us into the store, and several employees asked how we were and if we needed any help. We will definitely be coming back as we get closer to when we would like to take a cat home.

The groomers here do a good job. Way better than a few of the others I've been to in the area.

It was wonderful to so many people adopting cats with great compassion. It was commendable to see the collaboration with rescue provides to support saving animals through adoption, fostering and more at many of their stores.

The grooming services at this location are not what they used to be. It’s impossible to make an appointment and if you do, good luck in getting them to keep it.nnI was told my “dog only likes a specific groomer” and since she is on vacation I cannot get an appointment. I requested to speak with the manager who had just been consulted and she is now “off for the day”.nnI have never requested one groomer in particular, but it’s funny that my dog has!nnWill not be going back to this location as they don’t respect their clients.

Review is for the location at 12971 Fair Lakes Pkwy, Fairfax, VA 22033 posted on Feb 2021. It was our first visit there. Based on the experience, I can't see myself wanting to go into any other shop. We talked to two employees at the shop and they both met and exceeded our expectations. Doug was the store manager and he was the person who helped us with our purchase. We asked many questions, which he answered calmly. He was knowledgeable and professional. Thank you Doug and petsmart.
