We had a really great experience with Hood River Waterplay. We had a mechanical issue with a jet ski and the staff was great helping us fix the problem. Will definitely be using these guys next time for a rental.

I can't really recommend this place. Both instructor and desk people were really nice, and at the same time, the service, organization, and instruction were neutral to sub par.nI don't know how the prices compare to other places - perhaps $89 for a 2 hr lesson and one hour of practice time is a steal, and therefore worth it. I'd need to check around.nThe other challenge is that wind was coming from everywhere, due to the buildings nearby, and perhaps the heat and cliff bowl behind them.nTake this with a grain of salt - it's been a hot week, and perhaps they were just blown - but I'd look around if I were you.
