A national treasure for walking or biking. The mall has so much to offer and some great views. You can see a number of the key monuments including a great view of the national monument. Each side is flanked with the Smithsonian and its various museums along with the National Gallery of Art.

It was great to visit during this time. There were no crowds, everyone was social distancing. I was able to get up close to the Lincoln memorial and there were no lines. The National Mall was so much bigger than I anticipated. Miles of walking. I ended up renting a motor scooter to get back. My feet were in pain! Also dogs are allowed on leashes so we took our dog and she had a blast. Visit now if you can before the crowds return.

We had a nice day for a walk around the National Mall. Met friends for a picnic lunch.
