I love this place! Finally able to get an amazing selection of international (& local) wines here in the gorge. The staff is amazing & the range of price points & styles is phenomenal!
Awesome little spot in the gorge! We are so happy to have Rachel in the area. She does an awesome job putting together custom cases for us! Wines available at all price points from all over the world (not just your standard pinots). I highly recommend this wine shop and will be sourcing all our holiday cheer from Rachel!
I would highly recommend Sunshine Wines, especially when planning a special dinner or event. My family traveled from Chicago to Hood River to celebrate my parents' 40th anniversary. We had planned a surprise dinner with Portland Home Chef, Brittany Baldwin, and contacted Sunshine Wines to help with wine pairings for each course. Rachel worked with us via phone and e-mail, and helped us find delicious and special local wines for each course. My parents were thrilled with both the food and wine, and we were so happy we used Rachel/Sunshine Wines' expertise when choosing the wines. She even came in under budget when picking our wines, which was much appreciated. Thanks again for everything, Rachel!
We drove through Hood River and found this perfect wine shop! There is a variety of great wines at many price levels. The shop owner was extremely helpful and she recommended amazing wines. We had to return on our way back to purchase more. Note: the shop is in the basement, so look for the stairs :)
Visiting Hood River and stopped by this adorable little shop. Great selection of wines at all price points. Rachel, the owner, is so nice and helpful with wine selection. Wish I could have returned for the tasting that afternoon!
