Merrick Inn Restaurant

First time visiting the Merrick Inn.nWe were seated promptly at our reservation time. Lovely ambiance. Our waitress, Tina , was very attentive, friendly, and helpful. Can’t wait to visit the Merrick Inn again!nnWe started with a Makers Mark shrimp appetizer, then the Baby Jenn salad. I highly recommend both.nOur entree was the Walleye pike fried fish. It was tender, moist on the inside and crispy on the outside. For desert we had the pound cake with vanilla ice cream topped w caramel sauce. Delicious!

BEST PATIO IN LEXINGTON. I love this patio. With the pool and the tropical decor, it gets me in a laid back mood like I'm on vacation. The food is excellent too. I love the fried chicken, grouper fingers, and the lobster and crab nachos. Service is good too. The Best! Food, drink, staff always on point!

This restaurant is an absolute must especially if you enjoy fresh seafood. The menu is amazing and minor changes are accommodated. The bottomless Mimosa, Bloody Mary, and Poinsettia is outstanding. When you finish your meal you can purchase fresh seafood next door to take home.

If you have been to Merrick Inn You know how great it is. But if you haven’t it should definitely be on your bucket list of great restaurants in Lexington Kentucky! Absolutely great atmosphere super nice servers and just an all-around awesome place!

We made a reservation through Open Table. They fill up fast so don't try to stop in without reserving. They also followed all of the safety guidelines for dining while Covid is still prevalent. Quaint, romantic atmosphere with fireplaces in the rooms and limited seating made for a nice safe dining experience with delicious food!
