A jewel in the heart of scenic Kentucky horse farms, this little museum houses art exhibits and a permanent collection of jewelry and jeweled bibelots designed by George Headley. There are also dollhouses that were in the Whitney family. Not to be missed are the shell grotto and library. The grounds are lovely any time of year, but especially in the spring and fall. I have been visiting for more almost 40 years. It is a must-see in Lexington, in my humble opinion.

The art was all beautifully displayed. No photography is allowed though. Staff were very helpful and wonderful hosts. Highly recommend attending shows.

Nice folks, small inviting place, Constantly changing exhibit, spectacular grounds and surroundings. Definitely worth going by.

An underrated gem in Kentucky, no pun intended. The collection is small, but still fascinating. Probably the most interesting part is the shell grotto, the only in North America
