It was really cool to tour this house museum in the heart of downtown Lexington. The tour was advertised as a self-guided tour, but Matthew and Mel the historians there on our tour, were awesome and provided so much inside information about the history of the home and its family that we wouldn’t have known ourselves. There’s artifacts from the families inside that were mind blowing to be up close and personal with. You can take photos, and there is a very cute shop at the end and a beautiful garden out in the back of the home. We also visited the Todd family in the Lexington Cemetery after in plot F to really get the entire experience. It was all around an awesome way to spend a day soaking up the history of the area!!

This was worth visiting, the tour guide was knowledgeable and answered questions well. Honest Abe visited here so it was interesting to walk the same rooms where he walked. There are a lot of original pieces that belonged to Mary Todd Lincoln and her family.

Nice place to visit but I was hoping for more original architecture. Still a neat place to stop by but somewhat less significant than expected. I still recommend stopping by to help support the continued existence of the building.

Beautifully restored historic home! Staff was extremely knowledgeable and very attentive during our tour! Learned so much that we hadn't known beforehand. The garden is lovely, too!

A quick and interesting historical landmark, worth the admission price. The guides were very knowledgeable and friendly.
