Explorium of Lexington

We were so excited to visit; I remembered this place when it was Lexington Children’s Museum and it was a great place to visit. Unfortunately, that time has passed. Exhibits were so dirty. Pieces were broken. Cables and wires were exposed and easy for little hands to grab. It was unclean and not childproof the way you expect a children’s play area to be. So disappointing. We will never be back.

I’m so disappointed with our experience yesterday.. not only was my debit card charged TWICE, but half the stuff was either broken or not working. The toilets to the bathrooms was shut down.. We tried pushing several buttons to things that wouldn’t even work.. the bubble room barely had any bubbles in the stuff, they was empty! The lady at the front desk just sat at the desk in the back corner on her phone.I tried calling for manager but nobody would answer the phone.. Everything was needed up to date and fixed, and get things that work..

This place does not have safety precautions. Nobody is sanitizing anything. They're supposed to be handing out sanitized toys to use at exhibits but they don't have any. Lots of things are broken. This was a waste of time and money!

Fun place for Spring break. Wish they could open earlier to assist us working folks.

I went there when i was in kindergarden I had such a fun time. EXPECIALY in the space area.
