It was great to see a movie again! We had good spacing so we didn't have to sit next to anyone even though the movie was sold out
Glacier Cinenas is the best theater in Juneau despite being outdated/in need of renovation, in my opinion. The seats are comfy, and you can enjoy your movie/good audio quality. The food options are basic, and the only way to get bottled water is to buy a bottle from a vending machine with cash/quarters for $3.50, which I think is a little annoying, but not too much to complain about. Overall, the theater is not grandiose, but will meet your expectations of what a theater should offer.
Quality movies, great snacks that are reasonably priced, comfortable seating.
Although the seats got upgraded and the theater is a lot more comfy overall. Last time I had went (about a week and a half ago) we got a large tub of popcorn. In the large bucket we had found 4 hairs popped into the popcorn. I did notice 3 of the lady's working at the theater had their hair down and this included who I assumed was the manager. They did give us a cash refund for the popcorn but, while doing this the staff acted extremely nonchalant about the incident. I've worked in food service for a long time and this was extremely disappointing and unclean. Never going to a movie here again because, what's the point of seeing a movie in theaters if I cant trust the popcorn?
