Walmart has a pretty good selection of most things, but is particularly lacking in healthy and high quality food. You can't even buy cane sugar Coke or Pepsi products.nnA lot of people may not realize this, but controversy behind Walmart coming in and ruining small towns is true. I have family who live in a small town. They always had a Walmart, but a Supercenter opened up, and management told employees to go into town and report back on prices of various goods and services. Walmart then sold all the same things, at a loss of profit, until the small business went under. Once everything went under, they raised their prices again. Walmart even owned the old store location for years and let it sit dormant so that competition couldn't move in. While all of this happened about 20 years ago, it still irks me to this day. A lot of people who lost their businesses ended up working for Walmart, because there weren't many other jobs available.nnThe place has always been clean, and I don't really have any other complaints outside of their business morals and food selection. If I shop at Walmart, though, it's because I'm trying to find one or two things.
