Wild Coast Vacations

Marsha and the rest of the ladies that work there were really good to us. They always responded quickly when I had a question or needed something. We stayed at the Sea View cottage for 3 months because I was out there for work. It was pet friendly, which was the biggest thing we needed. Not a lot of rentals are pet friendly in the area. The Sea View Cottage is right off the 101 highway and is walking distance to many restaurants and stores. There can be a bit of traffic noise during the daytime, but if you don’t mind that, it was a comfortable place to stay. Will definitely reach out to Wild Coast Vacations again if we are back in town.

We planned a vacation to gold beach and made reservations with this company. When we were half hour away, we called as instructed only to find they'd accidentally mixed up the dates of our rental. It was stressful because we'd driven 10 hours to get there. Thankfully these ladies worked very hard to find us a different place to stay, it wasn't ideal but everything was booked since it was on season. We wouldn't have been able to find anywhere else to stay if it hadn't been for their diligence. They paid for our hotel rooms and reimbursed our money. We feel they went above and beyond to make this right. We will still book our next vacation with them because we know they're honest.

Took my small family on a week long vacation to the Oregon coast and we had a blast, we rented a cottage called Shore Bird. Here's what you need to know. First there are 2 cottages on this property and they are literally less then 20ft away from each other, luckily no one was in the other cottage while we were there, sharing a backyard would of been awkward. Amazing location and million dollar views which is all you pay for apparently. We camp a lot and are use to ruffing it so we're not very picky but this particular cottage either needs to be bulldozed or seriously renovated. Not to mention the lack of cleanliness. Human boogers flung on the ceiling, spider webs everywhere. First thing we noticed was the strong animal smell in the bed rooms. Then I made the mistake of looking in between the couch cushions and just about vomited. Was disappointed but it was a place to sleep and we were there to be outside and explore. Also what really topped it off was the cottage had fleas. Yeah fleas not beach sand fleas like stray animal fleas. We got eaten alive I personally must have over 100 bites, wife and 2 little kids and my mother all got munched on. Now that were back home we are still dealing with these devil insects. I left them a note as well as a bowl full of dead fleas we caught from one night. We still had amazing time exploring Gold Beach and the surrounded area and wouldn't hesitate to go back to the area but not staying in this cottage. The ladies that run the place were friendly, don't know about there other rentals just this cottage.

We have returned from a wonderful stay on the Southern Oregon coast - Gold Beach area. We were at a cottage named Sand Cliff - with beautiful views and more. We had space for the three kids upstairs in their own room with twin beds and the parents and grandparents each had our rooms downstairs = it was perfect!nWe loved the views, the outdoor area where we roasted marshmallows at night in the firepit while watching the sunsets. The sounds of the ocean definitely helped us wind down our day.nWe appreciated the very clean house and the friendly staff who were on call if we needed anything (like where to shop or hike, etc).nThank you Wild Coast Vacations - we will come back again.nThe Yates & Harrisons

We recently stayed at a very nice cottage called the Seaview Cottage located in the town of Gold Beach. It was centered in town which made it very easy to walk to all the wonderful shops and easy access to the beach. We sat on the deck and watched the sunsets at night. I enjoyed the fact that we were able to bring along our lovable family dog. The people who run the company really do make the stay enjoyable. The cottage is well cared for with a laundry room so we were able to keep everything clean. I recommend this company to anyone wanting to vacation in Gold Beach. The rates are very reasonable and the houses are charming and beautifully kept. Thank You!
