Jackson County Jail

They should definitely invest more money for their medical staff, supplies and equipment. There is a big difference between County Jails when it comes to Oregon and Nevada.. Food is about the same no matter where you go but the treatment to inmates is completely different. I think it has do do with having audio/video cameras covering every square inch of the place and the County Jail holding inmates and staff personally responsible for their treatment to other staff and inmates. The Jail is too tiny to house that many inmates. I don't ever suggest making a bigger Jail because that wouldn't solve a growing problem. Invest the money back into the community and get better end results. I give 2 stars because the place hasn't changed, remodeled, OR tried different solutions to correct or make things smoother or better. I've never worked there but if I were to guess I would say most of the time and money spent at the Jail goes to just processing inmates, and thats just a guess. There is such technology and software that exists today that could save hundreds and thousands of dollars a year for them. They'll probably get a new system the same day Lowe's pays to ubdate theirs. Try Kronos 2019 at least. Well the Jail Simply looks the same to me since 2007.

Seems that left hand may not know what the right hand is doing. They definitely have a full staff and upped there perimeter walks. Courtdates seem to change a lot. But if u want happen to stop by u better see Higgins who's down there running that show. And for a good laugh.

i've heard that they're are more women then men here and they let out women sooner then men. is this true? if so, it is completely opposite in JO CO Jail....just saying'

This place sucks don't go there, be good and don't do drugs.

SO thankful for this police department they picked up Kristine Cheyanna Mason yesterday on a warrant, whom has threatened, thieved and bullied me for a year. THANK YOU JACKSON COUNTY POLICE you have saved my Christmas! You are my hero.
