I was lucky enough to be able to have my Boy Scout meetings with my Troop 98 at the Coast Guard Station. I wish I had pictures of the inside of the building back in the 1980's.nWe Wrestled and through the football around on the lawn before meetings. I learned to tie knots in the building. We kept our camping gear in the basement.nWe would challenge new members to walk down the trail that leads down to the old boat house. It was always dark and spooky.nI went on to become an Eagle Scout in 1987. So fond if this place.nI went and took a tour of the museum a few years back. It is very cool. I highly recommend taking a couple if hours and take in the beautiful scenery.

This is a jewel of a park. From the cool history of the Coast Guard wooden boat to all of the trails that lead to breathtaking views.

Great place to go at Tersdian Recreational Site to trail to Agate Beach and also see Garrison Lake which is high from runoff and from Ocean spilling over. They will plant 2000 Trophy fish in the March 11th week.. Also go on top where Coast Guard Museum and trails are

Incredible views, huge trees, spring flowers and ferns, an easy walk on several paths.

Great park with a short hike down to the end of the point for fantastic views of the coast!
