Providence Medical Clinic - Central Point

A bit of a mess. Placed the 8info for an appt online. Received confirmation when we arrived (elderly mom is patient) there was no record of appt. The screener let us go up to urgent care, this upset the receptionist as we were to wait 8n the car. So right now I am not real happy with this new urgent care. No one wanted to admit there might be something wrong with the inline check in system, receptionist told me 8 had either not done it or made the appointment with the wrong urgent care.

I had been taking my soon to Dr. Choate since he was born 6 months ago. I absolutely loved her, but the secretary staff is AWFUL! Phone wait times are typically 15-20 minutes, often times more. When you finally got to speak to someone they are SO rude.nnI switched my sons doctor after my last experience. I had called to see if he could be seen sooner than his scheduled appointment (which was over a month out) due to having some skin issues. I asked the receptionist and without even looking to see when my sons appointment is or even asking she said no, nothing available. I then told her that he really needs to be seen and I would have to find a new doctor if he can’t be seen she told me good luck.nnThe doctors and nurses are fantastic. Find new secretary staff.

Best lab draw in over 60 years! Front staff was kind, courteous, and fast. The phlebotomist, Kimberly, was so good, I could not believe she even stuck me. Fast, efficient, clean - this place is a gem.

We have been patients at Providence Central Point for 15 years, Dr Hirtle and Carla have always taken the time to address our needs and listen. The front office staff is business like but never rude in my opinion. I have seen people go off on them and watched them maintain their cool admirably. I see all these negative reviews and wish some of us that really love this office would chime in to offset. Thank you Providence CP, Dr Hirtle and Carla Overstreet!

Beware that the hours for the lab on Saturday are not posted on their web site correctly. The lab is open at 9:30, not 9. The phlebotomist today was actually the radiation technician. There were 2 people ahead of me for lab appointments and I had to wait 1 1/2 hours for my lab to be drawn. The tech mentioned that the receptionist forgot to call my name for over 10 minutes. We will find another lab for the weekends.
