Hands down the BEST BBQ we've ever had! The food was so good and the service was awesome! With a family of 5 we wound up trying a little of everything and not one item was better than the rest. It was all incredible food and this will definitely be a standard stop for us on our coast trips. I would highly recommend Gold Beach BBQ for anyone looking for authentic BBQ.

Some of the best bbq we have eaten. Brisket and pulled pork were excellent as were the sides. The bread pudding is probably the best we have ever had. Smallish place and were only doing outside dining and take out — and line was long. But the wait was worth the food. The owners and the patrons were all super kind and cheerful — another reason the wait was easy.

BBQ west of St. Louis is suspect at best, so when I saw this place on the OR coast, I almost skipped it. The 4.7 average with 268 reviews made me curious however and I started reading. Everything sounded proper so I decided to give it a spin. Good lord. This may be one of the best meat meals I have had in the us. Each meat was perfectly prepared, their scratch sauce was immaculate: spiced, not too sweet, and freshly smoked. Each side was incredible, their bacon also made from scratch. The only mistake I made was placing two orders because west coast portions can be skimpy. I will eat well for the next two days. This joint is a destination in its own right. Anyone who rates this less than 5 stars is wrong, and anyone who rates this less than four probably hates meat and should be disregarded on principle.

Take out only right now. Staff is super friendly and obviously love to get to know their customers. Despite the fact we showed up 15 minutes before closing, they seemed genuinely happy to help. Food was good, love the big old smoker right outside.

Traveling photographer and stopped by on my way to Brookings! Man did I feel like I made one of the best stops in a long time. The atmosphere and the gentleman serving me was very inviting and made my experience warm and comforting. Lets not forget to mention how great the brisket was prepared. Flavor, texture and presentation just delivered to meet every expectation I had coming into a BBQ joint. Please do not over look this BBQ, you will not be disappointed.
