This is a very nice area to visit for a day. The single lane road ends at a trail head that has a toilet and several primitive camp sites. You can fish the stream here. There is another camp site a mile back that is a national forest campsite with limited camping areas. The last few miles traverse through a canyon with only a few spots to access the stream. The middle section of the road edges along the south side of horseman flats. Saw a black bear near the road here on the way out.
The best of the three main ways to get to Wounded Man Lake, since there is less elevation change. I took one star off for the horrible road. ;-)
