Spring Recreation Site

Spring Recreation Site is a camping and fishing site located on a 52-mile long Brownlee Reservoir on the Snake River. The site offers camping site, boat launch ramp, boarding dock, fishing, fish cleaning station.nnIf you driving through I84 towards Huntington, on the east of the town you would be able to see the site. The drive there provides a serene natural beauty. I went there with my friends for a drive and I enjoyed spending time there while enjoy the beauty of the snake river.

We camped here in November and were thrilled by the nature, sights and sounds. Quiet little reservoir with pit toilets and a boat launch. Shady trees and picnic tables.

Friendly and helpful camp host, quiet peaceful setting for a 1-night layover. Clean facilities and good protocols observed. First time here, but I'll be back. Good road in, nice views of reservoir.

Arrived Monday late night, but there was plenty of space for our 19’ rig. RV camping areas were kind of grouped together on a few terraced areas, while tent camps seemed more isolated, underneath trees. Super long picnic tables at each site and fire rings (tied shut/no ud83dudd25allowed) $5 per night at iron ranger. There was a fully operational and covered fish cleaning station with sinks and sprayer. Right on the border btwn Oregon & Idaho overlooking the Snake River. Pit toilets at a couple locations throughout the campsite. Woke up to still air, a glassy river and some residual smoke from the September wildfires in CA/OR/WA.
