I was accepted into TVCC. I only had two days to pick my classes and the enrollment advisor was so not helpful. I want to major in Additions Psychology and they have a program that would kick start my career. I went went in to speak with the admissions advisor 2 days before like the receptionist told me to do, over 30 minute drive and the advisor told me she didn't have time for me and to come back the next day @ 10am...... I went in later that day when I had time and thats when I should of seen some red flags! She told me some of the credits in my program wouldn't be able to be transferred to a 4 year college and I'd have to take the courses again. Then we went to pick my classes and she didn't give a shi* about what classes I was wanting to take, she just threw me into the classes that had spots left. I wouldn't have rushed into my college education do quickly if it weren't for her! I would have waited and started the next semester taking classes I'd actually enjoy and ones that would be able to be transfered! She then rushed me out the door with no other instruction, except how to login to accept financial aid. When classes actually started I didn't have any of the required books or other resources I would have needed to be successful in my online courses. She didn't even tell me where I could get the required books for my courses.... I got locked out of my student portal because I didn't have the correct login info. I only attended a total of maybe 5 days one week would have been the max. I had til that Friday to drop my classes and not owe anything. I told me to be after having 2 majornsurgeries well I wasn't made aware of the cutoff date being Friday so I submitted my notice to withdrawal from my classes that Sunday 2 days after the deadline. Then weeks maybe even a month + later i get a bill for almost 2 thousand dollars. I feel I got pushed around and rushed through this whole process. I hadn't even submitted required documents like my school transcripts or anything or taken my placement tests. The advisor rushed me into taking the English placement test that day and said I could just do the rest so other time. I'm pretty sure this whole process is probably illegal or against my rights in some way! I know I'm for sure going to see what I can do to not pay for classes I didn't take! Avoid TVCC Caldwell Campus at all costs it's not worth being rushed into decisions you don't want to be rushed into making or not being provided the correct tools to succeed in your education. Sorry this was so long but last thing I promise..... I will not pay your organization 1 penny of the almost 2,000 you say I owe you, not with the way I was treated. I promise I will take action against your school so I don't have to pay what I shouldn't owe in the first place! Would give 0 ☆'s but it's not an option ud83eudd14 wonder why!!!

It's great to get started here, but it's beyond annoying that to actually finish your degree, there are several classes that aren't offered online or at this campus, so you're expected to commute to Ontario. I couldn't finish my degree in Business for this very reason. It's no surprise that their graduation rate is so low for this very reason. I would steer clear if I had my chance to do it over again. It was a very frustrating and long process to get nowhere except in debt with student loans. They sell a dream and do very little to help you make it a reality.
