Plymouth Congregational Church

This was the sole church the utopian cult founders of New Plymouth voted to have in the town, which it was from the 1890's until 1920, when another was built. They oddly agreed to make it a Congregationalist church because nobody of that denomination was present at the meeting. Patricia Wright wrote in 1982 that it represents the neo-classical architectural style 'with self-confidence and purity.' Can you believe that
