Air Idaho Rescue

They have a super good pilot named Joe. He used to fly in the bush in Alaska and has tons of experience. He is safe and really smart. He really enjoys soul ripping, I think it’s an Alaska thing.

They air evacuated my son from the ski slopes and doggedly pursued him with a bill of $41,000.00 for a 30 minute helicopter ride. Their parent company is now in the middle of a class action law suit for excessive billing. They need to be shut down.

On July 15, 1994, I was thrown from a horse while riding on a ranch in Wyoming. I rode without a helmet. Air Idaho Rescue arrived to take me to a nearby hospital, where I could not be saved. So the helicopter continued on its way to Idaho Falls, where my life was given to me. The traumatic brain injury that resulted will be with me forever, as will my gratitude to Air Idaho Rescue for persisting in finding a way to keep me alive. I am marking the 20th anniversary of the accident by telling of this brave and determined crew that would not give up. Thank you.
