Highlander Motel

This is a good place for a tired traveler quiet and comfortable

The people at the front counter were nice people. The room on the other hand was pretty bad. I was passing through the area and this was the only hotel Vacant in 100 mile radius so I decided to give it a shot. I was desperate. I am not picky about hotels, i just expect cleanliness. This was not that. There was a massive amount of flies in my room. I went and asked for another room, same story, flies everywhere. I counted 8 flying around. The bed was rock hard amd the room stunk. The walls were pure concrete. The whole vibe was way off. I asked for a refund and slept in my car

Great place for husband and I to have alone time! We weren’t disturbed by others. Husband said the manager was nice. ud83dudc4cud83cudffbud83dudda4

The people in the office were great. The room was cool and vintage looking. It was a great stay.

Room was clean enough but as others stated, bed was super hard-and I love a firm mattress but this was extreme. Pillows- like a brick. Spend $2 for a Walmart pillow and help your guests out! Then the train. Blows its whistle right near the motel, couple times a night. No tv reception to speak of but we did have a hot shower in the morning. A place to sleep but sure don’t feel rested.
