Redford Motel

I'm not gonna lie and say this place is the Hilton. Amenities are very few, but it's a comfortable and safe place with AC. I broke down last night in the middle of nowhere, and they had a room for me at a fair price, even with two pets. In the morning they helped me find a mechanic working on the weekend. These are good people and I'm grateful.

I’ll start by explaining how we ended up here.nnWe totaled our car while driving in a snowstorm in Idaho off of I84 near a small little town called Glenn’s Ferry. We were completely lost and had no direction. Our tow truck driver dropped our car off at a lot down the street from here and let us out here for accommodations until we could figure everything out. We had our three cats with us also and we figured we wouldn’t have a chance of finding a pet friendly hotel in such a small town. Upon entering the lobby, a very nice lady (I’m assuming the owner) greeted us and heard our situation out. She gladly let us know they’re pet friendly and had a room for us right next to the lobby. We settled into the room which is small but adequate and started to figure our lives out. We’ve been going to the lobby to ask questions a few times a day and have always been greeted like a friend and treated very well.nnWe ended up here under unfortunate circumstances but Glenn’s Ferry and the Redford Motel made us feel at home while we pieced everything together.

How could anyone complain?! This little town it so sweet and the motel adds to the experience. I have been to Glenns Ferry several times and this motel is where I stay. It completely adds to the history of it all. I can see and appreciate the hard work that they have put into maintaining over the years and I'm always greeted with a smile. I have great pictures to post of the area and will do so soon. 10 out of 10 WOULD RENT AGAIN!!
