Hayhurst Bed & Breakfast

Buzz and Debra are great hosts! The lodge us super welcoming and the cottage is perfect! The beds are comfy. They have loaded up the cottage with plenty of dishes and pots and pans to cook with. There was coffee, salt and pepper, all the basics. The view is awesome and easy to access!

The rooms are beautifully appointed, the lakeside view is spectacular, and the owners are delightful and provide a warm and caring atmosphere for the guests. It is my favorite get-a-way destination since my husband died, and we enjoyed visits here together. I plan to make this a monthly visit until the snow flies again! And oh, I must praise the wonderful breakfasts as well!

You immediately feel at home in The Lodge Great Room-you can sit in front of the fireplace, play pool or Scrabble, eat, watch a movie or make new friends with other guests!nnHayhurst is a perfect venue for weddings, family reunions and holidays! The lodge is beautiful with great woodwork throughout. We stayed in the Grizzly Den room. It was small with a great view of the lake. There is not TV, etc in the room. Downstairs they have a nice TV station, but you have to be mindful of the other guests in the room. This is a great place to do nothing. During this time of year it would be great for snowmobilers. It would be great for hunting, fishing, dirt biking, etc. in their own seasons.nThis is a bed and breakfast, so you have to find or bring your own food for the rest of the days. There is one restaurant/bar in Pine, and another one or two in Featherville. In the winter, that's it. In the summer you could go to Prairie or Atlanta to get better food.
