Such a wonderful place to take the kids, especially on a snowy day. The staff was very friendly and attentive, and the viewing area were very comfortable and clean. My kids enjoyed the playground area and it definitely was a plus that there was snow on the ground. This place is a must see if you're passing through this town.

I wish all nature centers were like this. The observation room is fantastic. They have comfy chairs to sit and watch the wildlife come up to the garden in the back of the center where they've out out different feed for birds and chipmunks. The trails and gardens around the center are also impressive.

Small Nature center with a lot of interesting things to offer. Stop by and check it out.

This was an amazing surprise! It's a very well set up little center, with tons of information, and amazing interpretation for all ages. Very impressive!

This place is amazing! My kids love it. There's so much to learn here, a huge outdoor play area, and lots to play with inside. they have a lot of cool programs to encourage kids to hike and explore the pajarito plateau. There's a quiet little Library where you can watch animals play outside through a one-way window , with microphones set up so you can hear them too. A few live insects and small animals to observe, a little art station, a puppet theater, guides to the different rock formations of the area, a large topographical map, and an amazing view of the canyon. completely free.
