In a 3-minute phone call, I was able to order two 93-inch long 2x10 boards delivered the next day to my home in Santa Fe. And the price was lower than expected. I had already wasted hours failing to order the same from Home Depot and Lowes. Live and learn.

Great customer service and Got me what I need next day delivered to my house in Chimayo. Better price than I expected too. I Canceled my order with Lowes home improvement in Española because they pushed back 3 weeks on delivery when I needed next day. Lowesnsucks !

Helpful, friendly staff that is willing to accommodate their customers' needs. They offer paint mixing services, excellent customer service, and have a lumber yard staffed with people who will help you find what you need and load it into your vehicle for you. Most of the time, if they do not have something you need on hand, they will order it for you. They also offer a wealth of knowledge when it comes to construction, plumbing, electrical, and other home projects, as well as a knowledge of local contractors and service providers. To top it off, they also have free popcorn (or at least usually do, COVID-19 has caused some changes). I recommend Los Alamos Home Improvement over many other retailers because the employees seem to provide a more personalized experience.

Who needs Lowe's with Ace in town!?! Tried to order deck material at Lowe's and it was such a nightmare. Randy made sure that we got all the materials we needed to get going on our deck- ordered on Wednesday and they delivered on Thursday. I cannot say enough good things about these guys! Oh and the lumber (while very slightly more than we were going to pay at Lowe's) is absolutely gorgeous!!!!!!
