Clean, Friendly and Fast service. Sandwiches are generously piled high with fresh Boars Head Premium Quality meat. Amazing sourdough and the potato salad is a must. I used to come here with my Grandparents, now I bring my children. When I walk in the door, the years melt and it is like Papa is here still, waiting for his roast beef on rye.
As a dad, trust me when I say I know my way around a sandwich. And the one I got from Schlep's today was absolutely top notch! The rye bread in particular was so tasty, and it was Dagwood-level stacked. I definitely plan to come back!
This was my first time eating at Schlep's. I did check the menu online first so I kinda had predicted what I might order. The owner was very friendly and my order arrived in a timely manner. I got the Chicago dog and my first ever black and white cookie. The dog was topped appropriately and tasted good. The black and white cookie took me back to the tv show that made it famous and I couldn't help but try and eat it like I remembered them doing so. I'll definitely be back.
First time dining here today. Amazing food, superb service and excellent prices! Highly recommend you stop in! See you again soon!
