This park is truly one of the most beautiful lakes I have been to in America.nnIf you have been to Choke Canyon, Canyon Lake, or maybe Lakes in the surrounding area of Colorado, Texas, Nevada, or New Mexico this one is definitely one to visit.nnFrom the State Park website you can get various rentals and reservations as long as you live in State. I just moved to Colorado so that is a plus for me.nnThere are numerous locations for different activities. From fishing, to sailing, to hiking, or biking this park stretches far. So you have the ability to experience walking along the trails, to next to the lake and over the canyons. It is amazingly breathtaking views, and as you explore further, the views become even more incredible amongst the drive.nnSurely worth the visit.

Nice family friendly park. I especially like the little awnings over the picnic tables. There are alot of trails to go explore and they look like they are kid friendly. There is also plenty of areas to fish from shore but you could rent a boat or jet ski at the marina if that's more up your alley. All in all everyone seemed to be nice and the grounds were well kept, I will definitely be back to do some camping in the near future.

The water was very clear and we went canoeing. We did see a little bit of trash in the water but that just reminds us all to clean up after ourselves. The water was cold as most Colorado water is. I would deffinatly recommend coming on a week day for canoeing/kayaking. Barely any boats where in the water so it was very peaceful.

Fantastic views of tranquil and majestic soaring views, an eye delight. The park is clean and well mantained with many covered seating areas dotted through out. I will be going back to explore the other recreational options available. Wonderful day outing for the whole family!
