A great piece of local history and a wonderful place to read a book and enjoy an ice cream float! Definitely worth a look.
I love old fashioned ice cream sodas, and legends does them well. I did request extra soda water, since there was no lack of ice cream! It was also neat to wander through the basement and back of the store. We enjoyed chatting with staff as we had our treat at the bar. Great spot.
You can get a sandwich, a cup of tea, a dish of ice cream, examine antiques and find wonderful old books. There are cozy places where a person can just sit and read. It is a great place to meet friends. It is a historic building. Downstairs you can see the old mine shaft that connected the building to other businesses downtown.
Such a comfortable environment here! A great place to eat, relax, read, or catch up with friends. Loved this place for years and it never ceases to bring a smile to my face to be there!
Really wonderful spot for ice cream & treasure-hunting. Love the old fashioned style of the soda bar, kids loved wishing in the fountain downstairs. When busy there can be a wait... But worth it!
