The view is amazing, but the parking is often scarce, there are tons of stairs up and down that are very steep. It is free and you do not need a pass, but it fills up quick.

It's a parking lot. It's free if you can get to it. I don't know why you're looking at reviews for a parking lot, only reason I can think of is to check if you need a pass. You don't need a pass. Welcome to Bangor.
