I mostly use this library for the children's section. While there seems to be a decent selection of children's books, there is not much more to do in the children's section. There are not many toys for toddlers to be entertained/distracted with while trying to find books like I have seen at other libraries. They do have a small book on audio section for children as well as music CDs for kiddos. The librarians I have interacted with have always been friendly and helpful. I hear that they have a great book program that you can sign your child up for and they will preselect books for them.
Beautiful building with contributions by local artisans, note the carvings near the entry. Service is terrific, they will find most items using multiple inter-library sources. Reference library is good as well. The library is not as quiet as I would prefer; too many children seem frequently unattended. I use earplugs, so everone's happy.
