Shooters On The Water

3 stars because i'm from North Carolina and every time i visit Cleveland, i make sure to stop here because the customer service is excellent as well as the food! but this time was a bit different, our waitress was rude and seemed unenthusiastic to be there taking our order as we didn't know the menu much cause we aren't from here. i asked a few questions and she just would pause and stare then reply with attitude, there were a few times i was uncomfortable because of the stares we were getting then we get our receipt and it says tax $16.78, we didn't mind it left a pretty good tip then begin to walk out just to find out that $16.78 was a 15% gratuity fee, meaning we tipped without even knowing and a nice tip at that. they should make this way more clear, i wouldn't mind if i had known.

If you are planning a large event here, look elsewhere. I had started planning my rehearsal dinner here for our wedding a year prior to the event. I was working with an individual and he left the company and not a single person notified me. I had already put a deposit down when I toured the place. So two months prior to my event I called just to confirm the date, time and number of people, and I could not get a hold of anyone…when I finally did, they had no idea who I was and had no idea I made a deposit of any kind. This is when I found out the gentleman I had originally been working with was no longer with Shooters. Once I finally got everything sorted out and all was “re-scheduled,” it seemed to go a little more smoothly, but when the day of the rehearsal came, they were not prepared by any means. We had one server for 29 people…ONE SERVER! This server did an amazing job with the hand he was dealt, but we should’ve had at least 3 servers…especially because I had planned this event so far in advanced.nnThis is a decent bar/restaurant and the food is pretty good. You are basically paying for the atmosphere, which is well worth it! But if you are planning any sort of event with over 10 people, I would keep searching…

The restaurant was great. Only thing with the covid-19 regulation. You can't wait inside so we had to wait outside. the kids and I are fine but I have an older lady with me. She needed to sit and there are no seats outside. We also waited longer than they told us we were going to. The reason why was the people wouldn't get up to leave. The manages came and apologized to us for the wait. Once we were seated the view was amazing. Our waiter was great, the food was great and it was worth the wait.

Great food with a great view. Very family friendly, I came solo with two Kindergarteners and the server was very friendly and accommodating to the 5 year old energy and excitement. COVID precautions were in place but not so overwhelming that it felt stressful! The view out onto the river/Lake was awesome, and the boys absolutely loved sitting on the patio and watching the drawbridge go up and down! Food was excellent! I've been coming here since childhood and I will keep returning!

We entered Shooters around 4:00pm today. We asked for 2 drinks chicken tenders and shrimp cocktail. Asked the waitress to put that order in then. Then she stopped and asked me only if I knew what I wanted for dinner. I said salmon. They bring drinks. The my dinner. A runner brought our supper and the waitress was talking at another table. Every person working there was under 30. All were under the impression I was wrong. I asked for the 1st part of order and said they forgot. Now I was supposed to eat without my partner having anything. Hes disabled and they were so rude. This is the mantality this world is dealing with. I forgot to check the Reviews. No wonder!!
