I want to give this library a higher rating, as I really love CSU and my experience as a student has been fantastic.nnBut, in line with other reviewers, I agree that I wish that they were open longer hours.nnI haven't used their computers or browsed the collection so I can't comment on that. I sat down and studied from a textbook for a bit.nnIt also could be a bit more quiet. Depending on where you are sitting and the day, there can sometimes be a bit of movement and chatter than can be distracting.nnAgain, I don't want to be too harsh because overall my experience at CSU has been awesome and I am proud to be graduating soon with my bachelor's degree from here!

Staff are dedicated to the well being and success of the students and faculty. A great place to study or collaborate on projects. They provide a variety of study/meeting places. There are individual study carrels, lounges, computer labs, lockers, cell phone charging, battery recycling boxes, lift up vikes donation boxes, laptop check-out center, a poetry center, math emporium, Chinese language and cultural learning center. They're dedicated to promoting affordable learning, use of open educational resources, and have some textbooks available. They also installed water fountains with filtration recently. Every public university faces funding challenges and we all do the best we can for the students. Improvements come over time. You won't find a more generous group of people!

I have never heard of a college library having such little hours! They close EARLY. They aren’t even open on Saturday or Sunday!!! So students can’t study or print or borrow books? Smart move. It’s also dirty and the furniture is old and painful to sit in. I’m pretty pissed off that we pay such a high tuition to fund this library that’s BARELY OPEN FOR US WOW. Transfer to a school that doesn’t have a garbage library. I can speak from experience that it does impact your experience as a student because your library is your knowledge source and study area.

Noisy library specially the ground floor. The computers’ area is the noisiest when there are classes in the computer labs.nThe front office at the computers area(left, west, of the library) lost the printer-installment instructions for IOS devices. I was lucky to have already installed the printers; my friends weren't.nnBe aware of the walking-dead. Some people just do not pay attention to where they are going and some others leave their backpacks in the walkways.nThe writing center keeps reserving the tables at the west end of the library ground floor. They do not use most tables. They also mostly let groups set there for long. However, I got asked to leave even though I set by myself most times and I'm very quiet.nnYou could possibly encounter some creepy people in there. Like the person with a large bag who turns the screen away from the closest to him. If you encounter him do not make eye contact with him. He is paranoid; he kept staring at me for too long(about 5 minutes) at MC building thinking that I have followed him from the library.
