Cute little shop selling books, bath bombs, homemade lotions, tea and other fun little surprises! My wife took home a jar of skin cream, which we were told is made with goat's milk, and is silky smooth and smells wonderful! It also seems to last all day without being greasy, and protects against cold and harsh wind. This is the kind of shop I love to patronize when traveling, because it encapsulates the small town experience and leaves pleasant memories! Very recommended!
Love love love this place!!! It’s so quaint and beautiful and I love the ambiance that this place has. The owner (and all of the staff) are absolute angels and always super sweet whenever I’ve had an interaction with them. I usually buy mainly apothecary items or earrings and candles but they have an awesome book selection too!!! I love all of their scrubs and bath bombs and they always have such cool and interesting items especially near the holidays. Definitely a place I would recommend if visiting downtown Poulsbo.
I don't get the chance to get up to Poulsbo very often, but Away With Words always merits a stop. I love the unique atmosphere of the store and I always feel so welcome, even if I'm just picking up a few bath bombs. So glad that they added so many of their products to their website for ordering.
A shop filled with locally made soaps, bath bombs and skin care! A wonderful book selection and amazing gift items! What else could you want?? I love this shop so much! Not just because of the great treasures you can find but because it is owned and operated by extraordinary women.
Gifts, books, lotion, anything - this is my go to place! The staff is super friendly and helpful. They can give you book recommendations or help you find something for dry cuticles.nnI love coming here just to browse and check out all the lovely smelling things.
