I went through a lot of trouble to send them my paperwork spent hours making copies of my work, child support which is only $45 a month and unemployment and my child's paperwork only to be told they need more paperwork before allowing. I work and am laid off in the winter. They needed more paperwork which I already sent them a couple months ago for determination so I had to pay an extra $10 at library because I had no access to a fax machine and I finally got the results; they're only allowing $30 for the whole winter for my bill! I think I spent that in sending in stuff. My heat is electric so I had to pay $115 for that and I hardly turn the heat on in the winter because I can't afford it. Obviously they don't care about the working poor maybe all the money is going to illegal immigrants who knows. I only needed help for the months I am laid off but I will never apply to them again it's too much work. So I guess we'll just freeze. It's not their problem anyway. I don't ask for much in my life and when I do it's not worth it, people just make you feel like a fool for asking for help ($30 for winter).

Don't expect much help from their help line. They will tell you whatever you want to hear. They are not very well informed. I called their help number. I was #35 in the queue. After being on hold for half an hour they could not answer a simple question.

I filled my papers out an sent them due to losing my job i need the help well they didnt have all the info needed did anyone contact me i am now out of propane so i call an im informed i need to fax in paystubs from july an august agian i state im unable to fax sorry only way you do realize that im calling because i need help that im down an out who just has access to a fax i got it taken care ofthen informed they are not releasing funds its January an cold i need my funds asap not in 3 mnths call my local office wasnt any better i understand ppl take advantage but thrn there are ppl like me that have work3d but then need help an it's not really there comw up with a better way to service the ppl that need help
