Bible Baptist Church of Sodus

Oh my goodness. This was a rocking church. The site said 11:00 was services, it was 10:30. Glad I'm an early bird, and was there 30 min early. The music fellowship was leaking out the door. Which was a great welcoming. The pastor spoke straight to my heart. The welcome package, that I was encouraged to take, was an added bonus, and very thoughtful.nThe only reason I didnt give 5 stars is no one in the congregation reached out and noticed me as a visitor. I would have enjoyed telling a church member how much I enjoyed the service.nOh and there was a beautiful baptism there that had some real life comedy to it. Congratulations Ma'am and welcome to the family.nI'm a visitor to New York. I googled them. The map took me right to the door.

We find this to be a very well balanced church for all ages. Both pastors are credentialed ans committed to long term service to the congregation. Teaching is superb both doctrinely for spiritual growth and practical application. Music is of superb quality with soloists, musicians, and a congregational choir for Christmas services. Mercy and compassion are their foundation. There also are many fellowship opportunities for adults including the over 60 group and events for married couples. You couldn't ask for anything more - but they seem to find a way. Be blessed.

What a great church! We have served with Pastor Jay and a number of others at Awana Returning Hearts Celebration in Angola, Louisiana. So it was fun to see everyone again. This church has a vibrancy and a tangible sense of community. Everyone was very friendly. Good music and great preaching.
