The Chateau On The Lake

Love the location but for the quality the price was too high in my personal opinion. Also they delivered all the food at the same time and the dishes needed to be delivered when ready instead of under a heat lamp. I had the swordfish which was great but it felt it was missing something. Cocktails were amazing!! We had summer on the lake and was so refreshing. 5stars! On their drinks hands down!

Had an incredible experience at The Chateau this past labor day weekend. Being neatly tucked away on the lake with a little live acoustic music made for the perfect setting. Each of our courses were mouthwatering, but I think my favorite had to be dessert - having a pastry chef onsite definitely pays dividends. To top it all off, Buddy came out to speak with us after we finished eating dinner. My parents are huge Summer Rush fans so meeting buddy was the cherry on top of it all. Will definitely be back!

Amazing experience! Food was spectacular, and the desserts were very creative delicious. The service was great. Very nice and friendly staff. The owner Buddy was very attentive and made sure everything was perfect. The location is right on the Lake in Bolton Landing. The fire pits at night really completed the experience nicely for after dinner drinks. This is a must do while in Lake George. Looking forward to next summer already,!

Phenomenal experience. We first went here for dinner a few years ago, and met buddy for the first time. He gave us a nice tour of the place and we said we come back. We’re so happy that we did. Perfect romantic getaway for a couple. Located a small walk away from shops and dinning. We stayed in room #1 balcony Lake view, big and comfortable bed, the room has a luscious, great design, updated rooms with a rustic charm. Buddy and the staff were very accommodating we had dinner there during our stay, and We definitely got five star treatment being a guest of the hotel. We highly recommend this place for a little romantic getaway. Enjoy!!

6 Stars!nnEverything was wonderful, they are very serious about keeping people in masks during the pandemic which made the experience feel safe. We had a lovely table for two under a tent which kept the bugs out. Our server, Steve, was excellent, I cannot express that enough. We ordered a really nice bottle of wine (great wine list!) and he was able to decant it for us. The seafood tower was delicious and enough for 4 people, took us an hour to slowly eat it! The surf and turf was amazing, my steak was cooked perfectly. My date got the Chef's Cut and it was also amazing and cooked perfectly. The mashed potatoes were so good and the whole evening had a wonderful ambiance to it. We can't wait to come back to Lake George so we can try more dishes at The Chateau.nnThe only small issue we had was that the lot was full when we arrived, so we had to find street parking (didn't know the area or the rules), but after an hour at dinner, the lot freed up and I was able to move my car, so no harm no foul!
